Now that Spring is in full swing, it's time to clean those winter boots & stash them up in the storage so that we can make some space for all the cute Spring shoes. All you need are these 6 pairs to get you through this blossoming season!
1) Mules
Mules are like dressy flip-flops. They are as comfortable as flip-flops but look way more classy. They can instantly chic-up any look. Especially, if they are the metallic ones, like these here I got from H&M for under $25. I think I was meant to buy these. The only time I saw them in-store or online was when I bought them. After that, POOF! They are nowhere to be seen. I've searched for them so many times without any luck. I want to buy them in EVERY COLOR! Because they look good with dresses/skirts, jeans, leggings, shorts ! I've listed below a few of my favorites.
2) Black Pointed Toe Heel
A pair of dressy heels are a must in every season but in Spring you can play around with different styles. I can't wear a high heel because of knee issues. So for the longest time I was looking for dressy, comfy heels & my search ended at Marsahlls a week ago when I found this gorgeous Marc Fisher pair. I've listed them as night time heels but they can easily be worn during the day. The studded heel trend has been going strong for the past few years, almost making them a wardrobe staple. But most pairs I saw were over the top studded and I wasn't into that look. But this pair has just enough on them to add an edge to a classic style of shoe. Also the heel is just big enough to give me that lift (as a petite girl) but at the same time I can wear them throughout the day without any discomfort. I wasn't able to find the exact pair but I've listed a few that fall into the same category.
3) Nude Pointed Toe Heel
A nude shoe is a wardrobe staple for petite girls because they elongate the frame. Bonus points if they are pointed toe! I found these in Marshalls too when I got the black ones. This pair is great to wear to work & being nude, its needless to say they will look good with absolutely everything! So if you are going to buy one pair of shoes this season, buy a pair of nude pointed toe heels! I've listed a few of my favorites below.
4) Sneakers
Sneakers are no longer just meant for the gym. Just like a pair of nude heels they can be worn with anything! They can dress any outfit down (even a power-suit!). And it doesn't get more comfy than a pair of sneakers, wight? I got these in Japan and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. I already own a pair of white sneakers so I went for black, but if you don't have a pair of sneakers I'd say but a white one. Find my favorites below.
5) Peep Toe Heels
Spring morning/nights can get chilly sometimes, for those days you need a pair of peep toe booties that offer more coverage. Another pair that looks good with skirts, pants & dresses. If you want something that works for day as well a night get a pair of tan/brown ones. See my favorites below.
6) White Booties
You know how much I love these (I know you guys do too)! IMO a pair of white shoes in general amp up any look. Be it jeans or a dress. I wear mine once a week at least. Plus, these are perfect for Spring because the weather is so unpredictable. It can rain anytime or get super chilly. But rain or shine, these are sure to keep you comfy & stylish looking.
