"Florals? For spring? Ground-breaking." If you have seen 'The Devil Wears Prada' you will know ;) It's true for every spring season, you see lots of floral print pieces everywhere. Well it's the mood of the season so its kinda obvious. I am not a big fan of the floral print, its a little girly for my taste. And I don't think my style is a 'girly' girl one. So I have also stayed away from the print. However, this season we see a twist in the floral prints. We have them in more muted colors and with darker backgrounds. This adds a little edge to the sweet print. This version of the florals is easy to pull off and is great for night time too. This dress just is what I was looking for. The silhouette and the print of the dress is perfect. Like I have been saying, flaunting your shoulders is so big this season. It's something that looks good on everyone. The off shoulder look draws attention to the top half of your body which really helps petite girls like me. Since the shoulder and the neck is bare you can accentuate your neck by wearing a choker and draw focus to the thinnest part of the body. Also in my opinion showing off your shoulders is super sexy, in the less is more kinda way :) What can I say its simply fabulous. It also has pockets! I love dresses with pockets, they come in sooo handy ;) I paired the dress with gladiator heels and a choker, again to add some edge to it. The bag brings out the muted pastels in the print. The neckline and the print of this dress is the perfect combination of sweet and edgy.
