March is here! It's one of my favorite months for multiple reasons. It's the month when we can finally shed the winter layers & welcome Spring. It's also my wedding anniversary month (it's actually today!). But most importantly March is the month of International Women's Day. Although we don't need ONE special day to celebrate womanhood, its great to see special events organized around this day. It's sad that in this day & age we need a day to recognize all the achievements of women but it's a step towards making gender equality a norm than a novelty.
Now on to today's look! Pink is not really a color I gravitate towards but when I saw these booties aka beauties at Target I just couldn't resist them. They just looked so fierce rather than fragile which is usually the adjective associated with Pink. So I had to get them. They are incredibly chic & surprisingly comfortable, in spite of the stiletto heels. They add a perfect pop of color to any look & can take a basic tee shirt & jeans outfit to the next level. They are absolutely badass! So next time you think of the color Pink, think fierce..think strong & think feminine!
